The inaugural Organic Festa Asia is set to take place from September 3 to 5, 2025, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). With the theme “Organic, A Sustainable Future”, the inaugural trade fair will comprehensively span the entire organic value chain—from the organic industry support systems, such as equipment, technology, inputs, and training, to organic production, processing, distribution, trade, and personal consumption. The event aims to reflect the scale of the organic industry in Asia and China, fostering sustainable growth through innovation and technology, while promoting an organic-centered, sustainable lifestyle. Ultimately, it seeks to deliver high-quality organic products to better meet consumer needs.

MEDICARE ASIA unites seven healthcare trade shows under one roof 

Evian Gu (42) will become General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf in China as of August 1, 2024 and thus head the subsidiaries Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai and Messe Düsseldorf China. In this position she succeeds Marius Berlemann (38), who will take up his new position as Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH on August 1, 2024. He will also continue to be Regional Head of “Messe Düsseldorf for Asia” (MDfA).

Messe Düsseldorf is uniting its five Asian subsidiaries in one centrally coordinated network: In the future, the new regional hub “Messe Düsseldorf for Asia” (MDfA) will handle the company’s Asia business out of Singapore. This efficient structure is designed to promote even more growth in Asia and leverage feedback effects for the world-leading trade shows in Düsseldorf. Customers will benefit from offerings in Asia that are tailored to regional needs, central points of contact and even stronger business platforms – both in Asia and Düsseldorf.

In recognition of World Food Day 2023, Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. joined efforts with Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) China Office with a series of initiatives under the SAVE FOOD campaign. Designed to encourage proactive contributions towards the reduction of food loss and waste, the campaign was inaugurated with a spectacular light show at the 320-meter-tall Sinar Mas Plaza, Puxi’s tallest building. Expanding upon the initial impact, the campaign will continue to foster innovative solutions through the upcoming SAVE FOOD China Forum 2023 in November.
