COS+H 2012 to Spotlight Diversified Special Zones

Organized by State Administration of Work Safety and undertaken by National Center for International Exchange & Cooperation in Work Safety (NCICS) and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the 6th China International Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition (COS + H 2012) will be held on September 18-20, 2012. The exhibition will focus on the strategy of improving safety with science and technology, strengthen the support of science and technology for safety production, enhance the ability of securing safety and promote the application of advanced applicable technology and equipments.

The host of the exhibition attaches great importance to the organization work and asks the organizers to make great effort to expand the scale and enhance the level of COS+H 2012. Therefore, in order to reinforce the focus point, reflect the professionalism and the important role of COS+H in promoting the technology and equipments for safety production, the exhibition will highlight several special zones as below:

"Advanced Technology and Equipments in Safety Production Key Areas in Beijing Showcasing and Demonstration" Zone
Utilizing the COS+H 2012 platform, Beijing Administration of Work Safety will organize relevant enterprises and scientific research institutes to exhibit the advanced technological equipments for limited space, emergency rescue, tall buildings, fire fighting and other safety production key areas and demonstrate the ability of the administration and emergency rescue teams. Meanwhile, Beijing Administration of Work Safety will also organize the relevant personnel from the enterprises and government departments at district and county levels to visit the exhibition, hold the signing ceremonies for the promotion and application of safety production advanced applicable technology, improve technology R&D capability and facilitate the continuous improvement to the technology and equipment level of safety production in Beijing.

"Promotion on Process, Technology and Equipment Used in Safety Production" Zone
On the basis of effective implementation of "the Twelfth Five-year Plan (2011-2015) for Production Safety", promotion program of hundreds of leading technology and thousands of leading products in safe production, as well as the promotion of 5th Award for Safety Production Technological Achievements, this zone will present a in-depth display to the huge improvements in China's safety production equipments in recent years, the important role of technology in supporting safety production, and the ability of transformation from leading technology concepts into concrete products.

"Coalmine Safety Equipments, Instruments & Meters and Monitoring System" Zone
This zone showcases China's coalmine safety equipments including environment, safety and work status monitoring instruments, inflaming retardant and anti-static products, communication and signal devices, as well as 6 coalmine safety systems.

"Separation & Explosion-proof Equipments for Oil and Petrochemical's Storage and Transfer" Zone
It displays the technology of oil separation and explosion-proof technology used in oil, petrochemical and natural gas industry. This technology is mainly used in the safety upgrade of gas station, the manufacturing of mobile oil refueling device, separation and explosion-proof safety oil (gas) tank car, in order to solve the safety problems in the transfer of dangerous chemicals like light oil and liquefied petroleum gas.

 "Central Government Enterprises" Zone
The exhibition plans to invite 2 to 3 central government enterprises which are representative in this industry and whose products cover safety production equipments to this zone, such as China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and etc.

"Overseas Renowned Enterprises" Zone
This zone brings together all big players in the safety production equipments industry, including the world's fortune 500 companies like Honeywell, Dupont and 3M, as well as other famous brands like Drager from Germany, to show the international leading technology in safety production equipments.

"Personal Protective Equipment Manufacturers" Zone
The organizers will invite relevant domestic and international enterprises to show a complete series of personal protective equipments which attach the importance to the care for workers' safety and occupational health, as well as the enhancing of safety awareness.

China International Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition (COS + H), founded in 2002, is held every two years. At present, this exhibition has become the leading occupational health and safety trade fair of the largest scale, highest level and most professional international technology and information exchange. It covers a wide product including individual protective, mining safety, safety monitoring instrumentation and automation, emergency rescue, etc. COS+H 2010 attracted 190 exhibitors, of which 34.4% are from overseas. The exhibition took up 18,000 square meters exhibiting space while 10,188 trade visitors visited the event.
