Famous Companies Positively Participate in CHINA-PHARM 2012 with Latest Products

Strengthened Drug Supervision Brings Challenges and Opportunities to Pharmaceutical Companies

Jointly organized by China Center for Pharmaceutical International Exchange and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, the 17^th China International Pharmaceutical Industry Exhibition (CHINA-PHARM 2012) will be held at China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing from September 24 to 27, 2012. As estimated, the fair will attract more than 500 exhibitors and around 20,000 visitors from all over the world to present on the 35,000 square meters of spaces at the CNCC.

The stands of the fair have been selling well with many registrations of old and new exhibitors since the promotion started. Almost all the ground floor booths in CNCC have been sold out in as early as March this year. Currently, there are already over 300 exhibitors who have confirmed participation. In addition to advanced pharmaceutical and packaging equipment, which is the traditional advantage of CHINA-PHARM, many exhibitors will release their latest products at the fair, adding highlights to the great event. Vaisala presents the automated monitoring integrated solution with the continuous monitoring and alarm system complying with FDA/GMP requirements; Harbin Nano introduces the most advanced pelletization process route which adopts block-based design to achieve closed production in the Closed Combine System (CCS); Elite Precision Machinery Co.,Ltd brings the exclusive patented product Microfluidizer manufactured by Microfluidics, which can make the particle of the material into micro-and nano-scale particles; complying with the newly revised drug GMP requirements, EM-BIO developed  the pre-filling medium plate series which is an original domestic product; the first test board for air filters used in general ventilation, that is designed and manufactured by CHINA-PHARM’s exhibitor Camfil Farr Group, has been successfully installed and debuged in its factory located in Kunshan Economic and Technological Development Zone; and located in the PHARMA-CLEAN exhibition, UNMIXED CLEANSE, one of the largest and most specialized domestic cleaning equipment suppliers, will showcase its most innovative air filter, pleated filter cartridge made with various materials, and the advanced cutting, folding and pressing processing center, etc. The exhibitors of CHINA-PHARM will bring new technologies and equipments that are in line with the newly revised drug GMP, and will give more support and options to the development and update of new and existing pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Meanwhile, the 1^st China International Pharmaceutical Industry Clean Technology Exhibition & Forum (PHARMA-CLEAN 2012) to be held concurrently has also received very positive response among the industry with a large number of registrations. Shanghai Top Leader Med-Pharma Technologies Co., Ltd, a leading company of the industry, was the first to confirm its participation with an exhibition area of as large as 96 sqm. Top Leader provides customized stainless steel products complying with domestic sanity standard for pharmaceutical clients, and is dedicated to the development of a complete sterile production chain in response to the increasingly stringent CGMP requirements. The Certification Committee for Drugs of the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) will provide strong support to the ISPE-CCPIE CHINA CONFERENCE this year, which will focus on the development of GMP in China of pharmaceutical companies under the theme of “Chinese Industry”.

Enhance supervision of drug capsule and related products, encourage pharmaceutical companies to improve quality and brand image
Recently, the SFDA issued a circular which puts forward specific requirements for subordinate agencies and related companies in five aspects: improving the quality management system of manufacturers, enhancing quality management and inspection of pharmaceutical gelatin, enhancing quality management and inspection of pharmaceutical capsule, enhancing quality management and inspection of capsules, and standardizing commission test.

The pharmaceutical excipient security incident alarmed Chinese pharmaceutical companies, and also encourages and requires the pharmaceutical manufacturers in China to strengthen the optimization and upgrade of supply chain management. During this year’s CHINA-PHARM, excellent pharmaceutical suppliers at home and abroad will showcase high-tech products, and carry out discussions on supplier management through the concurrent seminars.
