Comprehensive OSH Innovative Products Showcase at COS+H 2012

Organized by State Administration of Work Safety and undertaken by National Center for International Exchange & Cooperation in Work Safety (NCICS) and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the 6th China International Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition (COS + H 2012) will be held on September 18-20, 2012 at China National Convention Center. As estimated, COS+H 2012 will once again hit a historical records this year, with total exhibition area of 22,000 m² and more than 200 exhibitors.

In accordance with the General Office of State Council’s requirements on further conducting the campaigns in connection with the “Year of Work Safety”, COS + H 2012 will focus on the strategy of improving safety with science and technology, strengthen the support of science and technology for safety production, enhance the ability of securing safety and promote the application of advanced applicable technology and equipments. With just under two months to go before the opening of the exhibition, many exhibitors have unveiled their innovative products that will be shown onsite, bringing great expectations to the industry.

One of the highlights is that Danaher Tool (Shanghai) Limited will make their grand debut at COS+H 2012 with an exhibition area of as large as 98 sqm. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Apex Tool Group, which deals in more than 30 leading brands, including Crescent, GearWrench, Armstrong and Weller, Danaher’s safety protection product range covers several areas of head protection, hand/arm protection, ear protection and respiratory protection. At present, the flagship brand of Danaher is SATA, which ranks top 1 in the domestic hand tool sector. Of all the exhibits they will present at the exhibition, the most notable one is the “SATA Light Weight Safety Bump Cap”, which can not only protect the head from the collision and abrasion damage (cannot substitute for helmet), but also has fashionable designs with sewing customized company logo.

As a global leading provider of safety products, Dräger will present its unique mobile training vehicle - the Dräger Personnel Occupational Development trainer (D•pod). Together with Dräger 's other sophisticated equipments, the D•pod ensures that all employee training is delivered in-line with nationally recognized and risk assessed training courses that are designed to improve awareness and safety of specific occupational hazards. The D•pod provides instructors with the ability to teach practical skills in confined space entry and rescue, wearing breathing apparatus, atmospheric monitoring and height safety. With the onboard fire tutor the instructors can also provide first class fire extinguisher training.

Produced by RAE KLH, the PPbRAE3000VOC monitor has been designated to use in Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center for anhydrous hydrazine leak detection. As known, hydrazine and its derivatives can be widely used as rocket fuel and pesticide products. The Photoionization Detector's (PID) technology used by the monitor is at present the most convenient, reliable and mature techniques for detecting hydrazine and its derivatives. PPbRAE3000VOC monitor will stage on COS+H 2012 as well, and visitors are able to get more detailed information on this product that contributed to China’s Aerospace industry.

China International Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition (COS + H), founded in 2002, is held every two years. At present, this exhibition has become the leading occupational health and safety trade fair of the largest scale, highest level and most professional international technology and information exchange, covering a wide product including individual protective, mining safety, safety monitoring instrumentation and automation, emergency rescue and etc. COS+H 2010 attracted 190 exhibitors, of who 34.4% are from overseas. The exhibition took up 18,000 square meter exhibiting space while 10,188 trade visitors visited the event.
