As Asia’s No.1 wire, cable, tube and pipe industry exhibitions, wire China 2012 is jointly organized by Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., while Tube China 2012 is jointly organized by Metallurgical Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (MC-CCPIT) and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. The trade fairs will be held concurrently for the 5th time in Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 25 to 28 September. It is expected to achieve a new zenith this year. The two exhibitions will occupy 7.5 halls, covering a total of 85,000 square meters. Nearly 1,500 exhibitors will present their latest innovations at the show.
Having successfully canvassed a great number of prestigious exhibitors, the organizers are now strengthening the promotion effort in attracting prospective visitors worldwide via newspaper, journal, Internet, telephone, fax, newsletter, visit and direct mail, with the help of the worldwide resources and network of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, the international supporter of wire and Tube China 2012, including its subsidiaries and agencies in Korea, Vietnam, India, Japan, Hongkong and Taiwan Region. There are more than 60 media partners in Europe, Asia and America, which are helping send the invitations to our global high-quality buyers, while speed up the overseas promotion. Moreover, as one member of Messe Düsseldorf’s wire and tube world series exhibitions, wire and Tube China has been frequently appeared on these shows, thus reaching to more targeted customers.
In July, the organizer held presentations for wire and Tube China 2010 in Japan and India, drawing wide attention and heated responses from the industry. Japan presentation was held at Tokyo New Otani Hotel on July 24th, 2012, attracting around 20 key representatives from well-known Japanese wire, cable and tube companies, industry associations and media. Mr. Axel Bartkus, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., one of the organizers of wire & Tube China 2012, introduced the progress and highlights of the exhibition, including the scale, the key exhibitors and post show report of the 2010 edition. Mr. Ling Chenggang, Executive Deputy Director of Information & Exhibition Center of Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute, reviewed the fast development of China’s wire and cable industry in the past several years and key factors for the rapid growth; while Mr. Wang Baojing, Deputy Secretary General of Metallurgical Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, analyzed the status quo and future development of China steel pipe industry. Their speech gave the attendees full confidence and expectations on China’s wire, cable and tube industry.
India presentation was held at Hotel Taj Mahal in Mumbai on 27 July, 2012, inviting 67 key representatives from the industry. Mr. Xavier Rebello, the Executive Director of Messe Düesseldorf India Pvt. Ltd delivered a warm welcome speech and introduced the two exhibition in details, as well as the Chinese market information. The presentations concluded with very positive results that many of the attendees had expressed strong interest in visiting the exhibition. Presentation is an important component of the entire marketing mix, by which the organizer could immediately reach the visitors and can provide them with information on the latest facts concerning wire and Tube China 2012.
This year, national or regional pavilions from Germany, Italy, USA, France, Austria, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan Region will continue to exhibit in large-scales at wire China. Moreover, South African Wire Association will organize a group with several companies to participate in wire China 2012 for the first time. Concerning Tube China, important national pavilions/groups include Germany, Austria and Italy, sharing the booming business opportunities of China wire and cable industry. High internationalization level is one of the reasons that wire and Tube China could attract nearly 30,000 buyers from home and aboard.
