CHINA-PHARM 2012 Held in Beijing to Highlight Drug GMP

Jointly organized by the China Center for Pharmaceutical International Exchange and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the 17th China International Pharmaceutical Industry Exhibition (CHINA-PHARM 2012) was grandly opened on September 24, 2012 at China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing. In the following 4 days, 462 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions will participate in this great event, presenting their innovations and products on a space of 30,000 sqm.

This year the exhibition spotlights on the theme of “innovation and development” and displays the trailblazing pharmaceutical machinery, equipments and technology. The exhibits cover: pharmaceutical machinery, packaging machinery, biological engineering technology, Pharmaceutical water treatment equipment, fluid engineering, cleaning technology & equipment , process technology & control system, RFID and anti-counterfeiting technology, excipient & packaging material, food & cosmetic equipment, detection analysis instrument, etc. The international ratio of exhibitors accounts for 60%, among which the space of German Pavilion and German Exhibitors reach some 2,000 sqm. UK National Pavilion will also stage again this year. Renowned domestic and international  exhibitors have all staged on the event, for example, Bosch, Austar, Fette, Rommelag, Siemens, NNE, TRUKING, Double-Crane, NOSAKA, Marchesini, Morimatsu, Gylongli, Shinva,, Hunan China Sun, GE Infrastructure, Rieckermann and Xiandash.

In order to enhance with the implementation of the new revision of drug GMP, the organizers join hands with Center for Certification of Drug of State Food and Drug Administration and Shanghai Indoor Contamination Control Industry Association to present several special showcase zones, demonstrating the outstanding companies’ brand image, products and technologies, including “Drug GMP Achievements Showcase Zone” and “China International Pharmaceutical Industry Clean Technology Exhibition”. The former is designed to share the successful experience of the companies who have passed the certification by vivid case studies and picture showcase, further facilitating the implementation of drug GMP. While the latter will provide the pharmaceutical manufacturers with the clean products and technologies that fulfill the drug GMP’s requirements, promoting the communication of the industry sector. It is believed that these two zones will be the new highlights in the exhibition this year.

CHINA-PHARM is more than an exhibition, during the 4 days, more than ten forums and technical seminars were held by the organizer, which will attract about 1000 experts and industry players to participate in. The authoritative and influential annual events, 2012 ISPE-CCPIE China Conference will be held on September 24^th and 25^th in China National Convention Center with the theme “The Rise of China's Pharmaceutical Industry and Opportunity from Drug GMP”. There will be drug regulators, experts, scholars and representatives from home and abroad discussing the hot issues around regulations, supervision, GMP, technology, engineering, processing and quality and sharing the latest information, laws, regulations, concepts, advances and experience in new and high technology to promote the development of China pharmaceutical industry.

The 1^st Pharmaceutical & Cleanrooms Technology International Summit co-organized by the CHINA-PHARM 2012 organizers and Shanghai Indoor Contamination Control Industry Association has gained positive response from the industry. It will largely contribute to the development of clean technology in pharmaceutical industry. PDA Symposium held by Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) will present PDA Experts on several topics concerning sterile pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing and quality. The UK DAY - BRITISH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY is aimed at introducing UK advanced packaging and processing technology and suppliers in pharmaceutical industry to Chinese customers. 

Moreover, over ten companies, such as Particle Measuring System,Inc., Hach China, AAF (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Millipore (Shanghai) Limited, NEUMO-VARGUS (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd., Beijing Gory-Tech. Co.,Ltd., will hold excellent technical seminars on site during the exhibition.

Since CHINA-PHARM has become a famous communication and trade platform for pharmaceutical industry in Asia and Pacific where numerous industry players meet here. The organizer will set a Pharmaceutical Personnel Exchange Zone will be held all through the exhibition days, to provide a communications platform for direct discussions between companies as employers and participants as employees in the industry.
