Fifth wire & Tube China drawing to a successful close Constant rise in exhibitor and visitor numbers

wire and Tube China again opened their doors from 25 to 28 September 2012. The organisers Messe Düsseldorf, Messe Düsseldorf China and their local partner MC-CCPIT – Metallurgical Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade und SECRI – Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute (China) delighted at the satisfaction amongst the participants of the event in the modern exhibitions halls of SNIEC – Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

The two trade fairs in Shanghai closed with record exhibitor and visitor levels. 1,399 exhibitors presented the latest machines, plants and products from the wire, cable and tube processing industries to 33,469 visitors. The exhibitors of wire China 2012 presented systems for wire manufacturing and processing, tools and auxiliary materials for process engineering as well as materials and special wires. Current trends in the areas of cable, measuring and control technology as well as inspection technology completed the ranges.  

The exhibitors at Tube China 2012 covered the whole cross-section from tube finishing through to tube processing. Products ranged from raw materials, tubes and accessories to accessories and machines for producing tubes and tools and for process engineering and auxiliary products.
In addition to the strong Chinese participation many European exhibitors also travelled to Shanghai alongside those traditionally attending from North America, South-East Asia, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. These welcomed numerous trade visitors and enjoyed lively order activities for the duration of the trade fair.

No wonder Werner M. Dornscheidt, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf, also voiced his satisfaction with the outcome of the two trade fairs: “As the organiser of wire & Tube Düsseldorf – the leading international trade fair for wire, cable and tubes – we are very proud to register the rapid growth of wire & Tube China in Shanghai as well as its development into Asia’s biggest wire, cable and tube trade fair.”

The next wire & Tube China will again be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 24 to 27 September 2014.
