CHINA-PHARM 2011 Overseas Presentation Successfully Held in interpack 2011

The China-PHARM 2011 presentation was held successfully in Düsseldorf, Germany in the afternoon of May 14th, 2011, during the world No.1 packaging trade fair interpack 2011. As a member of interpack worldwide trade shows, CHINA-PHARM made its excellent debut during interpack, attracting more than 40 representatives from well-known companies and media from the globe.

Mr. Zhao Yajun, director of China Center for Pharmaceutical International Exchange, introduced the implementation and supervision of new GMP as well as the opportunities therefrom for the industry in the following 5 years. Mr. Tony Fung, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, presented the highlight of the exhibition based on the preparations and updated progress of CHINA-PHARM 2011, especially the important measures of promoting new GMP in the upcoming exhibition. Dr. Peter Golz, Deputy Managing Director of VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association, analyzed the rapid development of Chinese pharmaceutical industry in recent years, and admired the contribution by CHINA-PHARM to the development of this industry. Mr. Werner Dornscheidt, President and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH (MD) delivered a welcome speech in which he also acknowledged the rapid development of CHINA-PHARM in recent years and ensure the firm support from Messe Düsseldorf GmbH to CHINA-PHARM. Mr. Ziegler, from pharmacy business department of Bosch Packing Technology (Hangzhou), Co., Ltd, and Mrs. Greda from Marchesini Group, as the exhibitors representative of CHINA-PHARM, exchanged their business experience in China and their impressive experience of participating in exhibition.

CHINA-PHARM, co-organized by China Center for Pharmaceutical International Exchange and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, has become an authoritative and influential exhibition with expanded scale in Asia. This year, the exhibition is expecting to attract over 500 exhibitors and 20, 000 visitors, covering an exhibition space of 28, 000 sqm. It is supported by several internationally influential international organizations including International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council (IPEC) and VDMA (Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association etc). This year, CHINA-PHARM 2011 will continue to hold 2011 ISPE-CCPIE China Conference, the Pharmaceutical Excipients Annual Conference 2011 and the Pharmaceutical Equipment and Technology Annual Conference. Moreover, the International Forum on Generic Drugs will make its debut in CHINA-PHARM this year. Besides, four special zones will be set up to cover excipients & packaging materials, laboratory equipment & devices, biological engineering and drug electronic supervision code. CHINA-PHARM 2011 has obtained great popularity from the market, Hall W5 & W4 in Shanghai New International Expo Center are almost booked up within a month since its launching in March.

In the first year of China’s 12th Five Year Plan, with new GMP issued, CHINA-PHARM will continue to provide abundant business opportunities and premier service for exhibitors, establish the platform for communication and cooperation between domestic and overseas industrial players, as well as make more contribution to the development of pharmaceutical industry.
