Medical workers who are in the front line of fighting against the COVID-19 epidemic pay a great effort and sacrifice in this white war. All sectors of Chinese society express the gratitude for the frontline medical workers by various ways.

Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai (MDS) and Messe Düsseldorf China (MDC) also actively participated in a special fund project for caring for frontline medical workers which was initiated by ByteDance, a leading content platforms runner and the Red Cross Foundation of China, and made a donation of RMB 50,000 to support these medical workers who are infected .

From January 26, the fund has put into operation, including but not limited to support frontline medical workers who have been confirmed infected or died in the duty. On March 1st, the special fund announced that it was extending funding to 56 more medical workers diagnosed with the disease. So far, a total of 1,467 frontline medical workers from 12 Wuhan hospitals have received the financial aid to varying degrees.

It is learned that each medical worker infected in the line of duty in the fight against pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus will receive subsidies of RMB 100,000 and for those who died unfortunately, his/her family will get one million yuan. As of February 29, this special fund has attracted the support of all kinds of social donors, and Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai (MDS) and Messe Düsseldorf China (MDC) are honored to be one of backup force of these lovely "warriors".
